The Palliative Care Wing at Heritage Pointe is an innovative concept developed by Family Hospice & Palliative Care and Heritage Pointe. This wing is designed to maximize the comfort and quality of life for individuals who continue to suffer despite current treatment, struggle with activities of daily living, and have difficulty managing multiple medications.
Individuals experiencing symptoms and/or repetitive hospitalizations could benefit from the Palliative Care Wing:

- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Back Surgery
- Wound Care
- Bariatric Surgery
- Motor Vehicle Accident
- Workman's Comp Injury
- Veterans
Dr. Roger Lemmen, Board Certified in Neurology, Pain Management and Hospice and Palliative Medicine will be leading a specialized team of professionals at Heritage Pointe who are experts in palliative care, wound care, and IVs.
The goal of this wing is to have individuals stay short term to get their symptoms to a more comfortable level, and return back to their home environment.
